  • Weather can be a factor in your overall enjoyment so make sure to dress appropriately for the weather that day.

  • The path is over half a mile long and can be uneven at times so comfortable outdoor walking shoes are recommended.

  • The line can get long during peak Halloween times so come early in the season and on Thursdays if possible. We also offer a VIP fastpass for those wanting to skip most of the wait times.

  • Expect monsters, cinematic special effects, lighting, fog, lasers, loud sounds, and bright lights at times.

  • Only one scene has stairs so feel free to bring wheelchairs through the haunt.

  • If one person has a glowstick in your group, the Adjustable Fear Technology will be adjusted down to mild for the whole group so split up your group into scary/not scary groups.

  • We do a great deal of mosquito abatement but sometimes they can still be annoying. Pants and long sleeve shirts are recommended. We also have mosquito repellent available upon request.

  • Expect multiple attractions with one ticket!

Is Field of Fear Haunted House scary?

Yes! Field of Fear is terrifying! However, we welcome children and adults of all ages. For guests who may be a little nervous or visiting for the first time, we offer free glowsticks that act as monster repellent. When someone carries a glowstick, our team adjusts certain effects and technology automatically in the Adjustable Fear Technology scenes to create a less frightening experience for the entire group.

Any group without a glowstick will get the full force scare, while groups with one will enjoy a more customized, toned down adventure.

Glowsticks are available for free at the entrance of the Haunted House.

What do the glowsticks do?

When a glowstick is visible in your group, the monsters in the corn become afraid of the person holding it. There are also several rooms that change drastically to make it more enjoyable for those who might be a little too nervous. The Adjustable Fear Technology (AFT) we have in several rooms makes it so those rooms do not turn scary when activated, chainsaws are not activated, and the lighting in some rooms become brighter.

Glowsticks are available for free upon request at the entrance of the Haunted House.

What is Adjustable Fear Technology (AFT)?

Adjustable Fear Technology (AFT) is something that we implemented in 2025 as a response to families enjoying the corn maze wanting to bring younger children through the haunted house. We take pride in entertaining our patrons, not traumatizing younger children. AFT allows us to cater to those who want to receive the full extent of our scares AND those who might not be so brave or are testing the haunted attraction industry for the first time! Using AFT, our monsters are able to drastically change the level of scare in AFT rooms to accommodate our nervous guests. Hold your glowsticks out in front of you to ensure the technology changes automatically.

Not every room is an AFT room, but monsters will be repelled by your glowstick. Animatronics will still be triggered automatically but the overall scare factor is reduced throughout the experience.

How old do you have to be to enter?

We leave it to the discretion of parents. Field of Fear is the only haunted house in Utah to automatically adjust certain scenes for guests with glowsticks. Using Adjustable Fear Technology, the fear level is automatically reduced from extreme down to mild. This allows younger children or generally nervous people to enjoy a more mild experience. Some 4 year olds love it, some thirty year olds can't make it through the entire experience.

What are the day tours like?

Day Tours take place on Wednesdays from 5 pm to 7 pm (check calendar for availability). Day tours are designed to show curious guests a peak behind the curtain, perhaps easing the anxiety for a first time haunted attraction attendee. Special effects and animatronics are not active during daylight tours and there are zero scares during the entire tour. Plan on spending 20-40 minutes on your daytime tour. Day tour tickets include access to the regular Happy Pumpkin Corn Maze, courtyard activities, and one trip through the Field of Fear. Tickets can be purchased HERE

What are Jump Scares Only like?

Jump Scares Only take place on Wednesdays from 7 pm to 9 pm (check calendar for availability). During Jump Scares Only, all special effects, animatronics, show lighting, and show sound are ACTIVE, the only thing missing is the actors. Jump Scares Only are designed as an intermediate step in between day tours and the full haunted house show for those still getting used to haunted attractions. Jump Scares Only tickets include access to the regular Happy Pumpkin Corn Maze, courtyard activities, and one trip through the Field of Fear. Tickets can be purchased HERE
