Adjustable Fear Technology​

Field of Fear Haunted House is the only haunted house in Utah featuring Adjustable Fear Technology (AFT), a system designed to let guests choose their own level of fear.

One challenge unique to our haunted house is that we welcome a wide variety of visitors. Some guests are looking for one of the scariest haunted houses in Utah, while others are families with younger children who want to experience the excitement of a haunted house without overwhelming scares. Rather than forcing everyone through the same experience, we created a solution that allows the attraction to adapt to the guest.
Using a free glowstick, guests can select a reduced fear experience as they journey through the haunt. Throughout the attraction, our Adjustable Fear Technology automatically changes lighting, audio, video effects, actor interactions, and scene intensity in designated areas.

This innovative system allows for families, teenagers, first time haunted house visitors, and hardcore horror fans to enjoy the same haunted attraction while experiencing different levels of fear. Not a Short Trip Though the Park​​​

You can expect your trip through the corn to take approximately 20-25 minutes. During your .62 mile journey, you will enter and exit several structures as you navigate through the towering corn.
Unlike many haunted corn mazes that are over in a few minutes, Field of Fear takes you on an extended adventure through unexpected scenarios, and the hidden domain of The Watchers, where the scares can come from any direction.

The scares, scenes, pathways, design, props, and special effects are updated yearly to keep our guests guessing every year!

​Step Into Another World​

There's something unsettling about stepping into a dark cornfield at night.
During setup, we often work well into the late hours of the night, in the darkness. When it's completely dark, it's easy for the mind to start to wander. Was that sound just an animal in the corn? Why can you always hear them but never see them? Would I actually scream if something stepped onto the path right now? What if that something was a dude with no eyes? Why would there be a dude with no eyes in the corn? I'm not sure but it's a terrifying thought.
